almost-30yr old gal, blonde hair, green eyes. worships nature, her family and animals.

likes animaniacs, autumn leaves, blueberry juice, bubbles, cartoons, crazy socks, daisies, eleven (the number), french toast, fuzzy things, goldfish (crackers), halloween, holding hands, jousting, kc masterpiece chips, lazy days, long walks, may day, nursery rhymes, organic things, pickles, pumpkins, sex, splashing in puddles, tattoos, the jeep (it's new!), the wb, tribal music, warm breezes, wine in a box, yoga, and zen.

appreciates sharing the deepest of secrets, flowers, kisses on the forehead, honesty, and a good cry. afraid of the unknown, disappointment, ignorance and bumps in the night.

maybe i am just a modern day hippie - tree hugger, nature lover, and believer in greater things than just ourselves.

Kittie for Lunch?

what makes us any better for eating cows and not cats?

you know how one or a few cultures hold cows sacred, and keep them as we do
cats (sorta)...and they would never consider eating them.... but we gobble
them up like it's nothing. yet we pitch a fit if someone eats a cat (in
china, etc). it's the same thing, but we can't see it because....why? it's
not because we're selfish or stubborn. maybe set in our ways?

i've been considering giving up meat, but i don't really have a good enough
reason. i don't see it as cruel to the animal, because we are designed to
eat meat. that would be like forcing a cat to eat veggies... they can't do
it, and it's not healthy for them. i thought about just giving up red
meat..or just eating fish and turkey (i LOVE turkey bacon). or maybe
telling myself it's healthier for me, but most junk food isn't healthy and
it's not meat.

so i'm still up in the air about the whole thing. i don't eat a lot of
meat anyway, but i just wanted to try it out and see if my body reacted any
different.
